Seeking a queer refuge for the kind of hard-hitting techno he has fallen in love with, TS Julien founded the Brooklyn-based hard dance music collectives CHROMA RAVE and RAVE MACHINE in 2023.

An Italian-American born and raised in New Jersey, TS Julien’s musical roots stem from the underground queer hardcore techno scene in Brooklyn. TS Julien's DJ style is active and rises from organic inclinations as opposed to studious technique. His use of unexpected, explicit, and self-aware track selections and samples recall an unpretentious vison of techno, making for catchy and unforgettable sets.  His video and art performances are inspired by his time in the underground drag scene— combining fluxus, absurdism, and ARG elements.
